(BGO) – The Chairman of Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Nguyen Van Linh has recently welcomed the Economic and Commercial Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Vietnam Hu Suo Jin and a delegation of Chinese enterprises to seek the investment opportunities in the province. The event was attended by the leader of the PPC Office, the departments of Foreign Affair, Planning and Investment, Industry and Trade as well as the Management Board of the Industrial Parks (MBIP).
At the meeting, the provincial Chairman briefed the guest on the socio-economic development of Bac Giang province in 2018 with prominent indexes of growth rate, budget collection, import and export. He also acknowledged the Chinese businesses’ contribution to the provincial development achievement and thanked the due attention of the Chinese Embassy in promoting the relationship between Bac Giang province and Chinese counterparts.

Counselor Hu Suo Jin spoke highly of Bac Giang’s development. On behalf of the Chinese business community, he expressed gratitude to the kind consideration and facilitation of the local authority to Chinese enterprises currently investing in the province.
Counselor Hu Suo Jin affirmed that Chinese Embassy in Vietnam will further introduce and encourage Chinese firms to seek the investment opportunities in the province while coordinating with Bac Giang province and Chinese localities to create favorable conditions to export the provincial staples to China, especially the fresh lychee.
Regarding the enterprises’ proposal of investment survey, PPC Chairman assigned the MBIP to guide the investors in implementation and supply the information about investment procedure in the province.

Bac Giang continues improving investment climate(BGO) - In 2018, Bac Giang province granted investment registration certificates for 107 domestic investment projects with registered capital of 1,920 billion VND (82.7 million USD) and 63 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects valued at 166 million USD. Besides, the local authority has given a nod to increasing the capital for 50 investment projects up to 336 million USD.
