(BGO) - The provincial People’s Committee in the northern province of Bac Giang has announced the 2019 organizations and citizen’s satisfaction Index of Public Administrative Services (SIPAS).
Among 17 departments and agencies being surveyed, the provincial Department of Foreign Affairs achieved the highest with 92.02 percent, up 2 leaps compared to 2018 followed by Department of Education and Training (91.94 percent) and Department of Health (91.80 percent) who are also highly evaluated in public services. Meanwhile, the provincial Industrial Zones Authority was in the bottom with 87.94 percent.

Among the people’s committee of the districts and city, Viet Yen continued taking the lead with 89.69 percent. This result reflects great efforts of Viet Yen district in providing synchronous equipment at the one-stop sections at all levels, reducing procedures and time limit to deal with administrative procedures under their authority and fostering inspection on duty performances of the public servants.
The people’s committee of Tan Yen district ranked second with 89.66 percent. The people’s committee of Son Dong district got the lowest with 80.04 percent.
SIPAS is evaluated with sociological surveys based on the criteria of public access to administrative services and procedures, public servants’ behaviours, fees/charges, outcomes of the administrative procedures and publicizing public administrative procedures.
Based on the announced indices, the agencies, localities and organizations will draw experiences and take proper measures in boosting administrative reform to improve service quality of the public administrative agencies meeting organizations and citizen’s satisfaction.
