Bac Giang provincial leader extends Tet greeting to Embassies of Japan and RoK in Vietnam

(BGO) – On December 7, Vice Secretary of Bac Giang provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Le Anh Duong paid a visit and extended New Year greetings to the Embassies of Japan and Republic of Korea (RoK) in Vietnam.

At the destinations, PPC Chairman presented New Year Card, flowers, gifts and local outstanding products. On behalf of the provincial leader, he briefly introduced about socio-economic situation in the province together with prominent result in implementing duo target to effectively contain Covid-19 pandemic and ensure local economic growth.

Ambassador of Japan to Vietnam Yamada Takio receives the working delegation from Bac Giang province.

In spite of severe impacts caused by the pandemic, Bac Giang still wins big achievement, high economic growth rate of 7.82 percent and export turnover of 30 billion USD, which are greatly contributed by investors and enterprises from Japan and RoK.

Affirming the good relationship for long time, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong wished Embassy of Japan and Ambassador to pay more attention to the province, select and introduce Japanese partners and investors to seek cooperative opportunities with Bac Giang while assisting the province in teaching Japanese in Bac Giang High School for the Gifted.

Meanwhile, the provincial leader hoped to expand cooperation and exchange of culture and education with RoK via online or offline exchange events as well as establish a local level relationship with a RoK province.

PPC Chairman sincerely invited two Ambassadors and working delegation to pay a visit to Bac Giang in upcoming time.

Expressing gratitude for Bac Giang’s emotion, Ambassador of Japan to Vietnam Yamada Takio confirmed to be ready for a close cooperation, connect the province to Japanese investors and soon consider supporting to teach Japanese at local schools. He suggested the province to continue paying attention to and facilitate Japanese experts and labours during they work at the companies.

Besides, Ambassador of RoK to Vietnam Park Noh-wan hoped Bac Giang will further promote the potentials and advantages to create favorable corridor and lure more RoK investors, helping contribute to local socio-economic development.

Agreeing with proposal from the province, Ambassador promised to seek and introduce one locality with similar feature to Bac Giang for investment collaboration and development while considering to support the project to expanding Vietnam Korea College of Vocational Technology and teach Korean in Bac Giang High School for the Gifted.
