Bac Giang PPC Chairman visits Embassies of China and Singapore ahead of Tet

(BGO) - Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) of Bac Giang province Le Anh Duong on January 11 paid visits to extend Tet (New Year) greetings to the Embassies of China and Singapore to Vietnam.

At his visit to Xiong Bo, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam, PPC Chairman expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for his continued attention to Bac Giang province, particularly in consumption of farm products, scholarship for students and supply of vaccine against Covid-19 pandemic.

The provincial Chairman Le Anh Duong informed, the province is home to 162 projects of Chinese enterprises with total registered investment capital of some 3,300 million USD. Currently, China is the leading country in terms of registered capital and ranks 2nd in the number of investment projects in the province. He expected that the Ambassador would continue paying attention to and introducing the geographical condition and investment climate of the province to Chinese enterprises in coming time.

Bac Giang province is seeking ways to exploit the international rail route to China with an idea to build a warehouse area in the locality to gather freights to transport to China. The Ambassador is expected to support this initiative of Bac Giang province.

On New Year Occasion and ahead the traditional Tet festival, the PPC Chairman extended his best wishes to the Ambassadors and the staff of Chinese Embassy. He invited the Ambassador to visit Bac Giang province at convenient time.

Ambassador Xiong Bo congratulated Bac Giang province for their achievements especially in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic and economic development. He stressed, he strongly supports the initiatives of the province, particularly the initiative related to exploiting the international rail route. The Embassy will continue paying attention to fostering and tightening the cooperative relation in all fields while introducing Chinese investors to seek investment opportunities in Bac Giang province in coming time.

At the Embassy of Singapore, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong extended his Tet greetings to Ambassador Jaya Ratnam.

The province has advantages in agricultural development, thus it has enormous room for export of its farm products to Singaporean market. The PPC Chairman requested the Singaporean Embassy and Commercial Counselor in Vietnam to continue paying attention to boosting cooperation in agricultural sector between Vietnamese and Singaporean enterprises. 

Besides, he expected for support in human resource training for digital-based economy, trade cooperation through Singaporean transaction platforms and introducing investors to the industrial parks in the province.

The Ambassador thanked for the good sentiments of Bac Giang province to the country of Singapore. He stressed the good results so far and this visit will be significant foundation for Bac Giang province and the Embassy to foster information exchange and the cooperative tie.

Businesses care for labours on Tet occasion

(BGO) – It is nearly one month to come Lunar New Year 2022. In spite of encountering numerous difficulties caused by Covid-19 pandemic, the businesses in the northern province of Bac Giang have taken efforts to balance the expenses to give Tet bonus to labours. Brigade 171 from the High Command of Naval Zone 2 will visit and deliver New Year (Tet) gifts to officers and soldiers on the DK1 platforms, on-duty ships and officials on Con Dao island district.

(BGO) - Striving to present Tet gifts to all poor households in Tan Yen district (Bac Giang province) (2,459 families) each worth 500,000 VND, the district Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) has called on officials, public servants and labours at organizations, agencies as well as the soldiers and armed forces in the district to donate at least one day salary or income.

 

Bac Giang business gives highest Tet bonus of nearly 10,000 USD per person

(BGO) – The highest bonus for 2022 Lunar New Year of 228 million VND (nearly 10,000 USD) is given by Fugiang Company Limited (Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd ) in Van Trung industrial park, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province, reported the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA).
