(BGO) - The working delegation from Xaysomboun province of Laos led by Secretary of the Party Committee and provincial Governor Phoikham Houngbounyuang on May 31 paid field trip to Son Dong and Luc Ngan district of Bac Giang province. The delegates were accompanied by Permanent Vice Chairman of Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Mai Son.
Visiting Tay Yen Tu Spiritual and Ecotourism Complex in Son Dong district, PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son shared Son Dong is one of the poor districts in Vietnam. However local life has been gradually improved by forestry economy and tourism development.

Though spiritual tourism is developed in associated with resort, the province always directs to preserve the natural forest to protect the environment and ecological condition
In Luc Ngan district, the host and the guest briefed each other on socio-economic situation, national defence and security, administrative reform and digital transformation.
Both localities shared many similarities in geography, soil condition, socio-economic development structure among other so they can support and exchange actual experiences toward mutual development, especially in agriculture.
Speaking at the event, Secretary of Xaysomboun provincial Party Committee Phoikham Houngbounyuang thanked local leaders for facilitating the delegates to visit many places and departments, study about the construction of government, administrative reform and economic growth. These were precious experiences for the working delegation.
“Xaysomboun province has big natural area with special advantage of vast land but the commodity production is at initial stage. Visiting Luc Ngan district, we acknowledge that we need to accelerate communication among local people to inspire the development of commodity production,” he said.

Within the field trip, the delegates visited and studied the operational model, implement method and experience at early ripe lychee growing area in Nam Duong commune, Toan Cau Import Export Joint Stock Company in Phuong Son commune and one stop shop in Luc Ngan district.
Addressing the event, PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son informed that Bac Giang used to be a poor province ten years ago. Thanks to due attention of the Party, State and high political determination in leadership, instruction and implementation of the party and authority at all levels, Bac Giang has strongly developed.
He believed that Xaysomboun will have same development step in near future, positively contribute to the relationship between the Parties, States and people of two countries in general as well as Bac Giang and Xaysomboun provinces in particular.
