(BGO)- Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mai Son and leaders of some related departments, agencies and localities of Bac Giang province on February 18 had a meeting with the delegation of China’s Yunnan province headed by Li Chenyang, Director of the Commerce Department.
In his welcoming speech, the provincial permanent Vice Chairman Mai Son highly spoke on the attention and cooperation of Yunnan province to establish and develop bilateral trade of both localities.

The cooperation affirmed the consistent agreement between the two provinces in realizing the common cognition of the high-ranking leaders of the 2 countries to enhance cooperation efficiency in economic, trade and investment sectors creating strong foundation for developing the bilateral relations.
He expected the Director of Yunnan’s Commerce Department and the working delegation to introduce enterprises to invest, foster bilateral trade development and boost rapid and sustainable import - export growth. Firstly, he hoped Yunnan’s Commerce Department to continue support Bac Giang province for smooth export of its lychee to Chinese market through Yunnan’s border gate in coming lychee season.

Li Chenyang thanked for the warm welcome by the leaders of Bac Giang province and he expressed his delight at the development of Bac Giang province, the good friendship and partnership between Bac Giang and Chinese partners when many Chinese enterprises have invested in the province.
Li Chenyang expressed his hope to foster exchanges and cooperation and learn experience in investment attraction of Bac Giang province. In order to boost bilateral trade promotion, he requested the provincial leaders to strengthen exchange activities to facilitate enterprises of both provinces to understand more about the potentials and advantages of each locality, thereby creating more investment opportunities.
He stressed, firstly both sides need to continue discussing and seek solutions to give proper cooperation policies and mechanism. In coming time, the 2 provinces should consider finalizing the memorandum of understanding on cooperation between Bac Giang’s Department of Industry and Trade and Yunnan’s Commerce Department and proactively participate in trade exhibitions and trade promotion events.

In his response, the provincial permanent Vice Chairman Mai Son highly appreciated the recommendations from the representative of Yunnan province. He stressed, Bac Giang province would always support and organize more activities to foster the cooperative relations between the 2 provinces. He expected Yunnan’s Commerce Department to boost information exchange in trade promotion activities to maintain the export of farm produce of both provinces and help Bac Giang to meet the China’s regulations on import and export of goods.
On the same day, the working delegation of Yunnan province visited some enterprises in Van Trung industrial park (Viet Yen district).
