Bac Giang wins two first prizes at contest of “Traffic safety for tomorrow smile”

(BGO) – Two individuals in Bac Giang province were awarded first prizes at the Award Ceremony of the  “Traffic safety for tomorrow smile” contest held on March 23-24 at Nha Trang city (Khanh Hoa province) for the students and teachers at secondary and high schools in the academic year 2018 – 2019 across the nation. 

They are teacher Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong in charge of Literature in Tran Phu Secondary School (Bac Giang city) and Nguyen Thi Hoa, a student at class 11A5 in Hiep Hoa No.2 High School.

The contest was launched in December 2018, drawing the participation from thousands of teachers and students in 63 provinces and cities.

At the final round, the students continued exchange, show their knowledge and skill to safely join traffic while the teachers designed the lesson plan and tested a lesson on traffic safety following the document delivered by the organization board.

The Organization Board presents the first prizes to the candidates.

It is among the activities under the educational programme on traffic safety for students at secondary and high schools which is co-hosted by the National Committee for Traffic Safety, Ministry of Education and Training and Honda Vietnam to equip the students with the knowledge and skill to safely join the traffic.

Thousands of drivers commemorate victims of road traffic accident
(BGO) – Under the motto of “Commemorate the gone – For the present”, thousands of drivers in several roads in Bac Giang province at 9 am on November 18 stopped their vehicles and went down the street for a minute to commemorate the victims killed in road traffic accidents.

The Chi Ma-Ai Dian border gate pair from Loc Binh district of Lang Son province and Ning Ming County in China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, officially opened on September 10.
