Scholarships presented to impoverished students

(BGO) – The Bac Giang provincial Fund for Children’s Protection on July 29 coordinated with the Asian Hope Association (France) to present the scholarships under the first “Light up the dream” programme in 2019 in Bac Giang city.

39 scholarships were presented to the needy students in the districts of Son Dong, Luc Nam, Yen The, Yen Dung, Tan Yen, Viet Yen and Bac Giang city, each worth from 1.9 – 2.6 million VND (82 – 112 USD). Besides, 13 gift packages were offered to the poor children and those living in special difficulties (each worth 600,000 VND – 2.6 million VND).

Leader of the Bac Giang provincial Fund of Children’s Protection presents the scholarships to the impoverished students.

All the scholarships and gifts were valued at more than 100 million VND (over 4,300 USD) sponsored by the French philanthropists via the donating campaign launched by the Asian Hope Association.

The Bac Giang provincial Fund for Children’s Protection has coordinated with the Asian Hope Association since 2012.

Apart from giving the scholarships to the disadvantaged students and children, the Asian Hope Association also calls for the donation from the French kind-hearted people to support to repair and build the schools as well as clean water projects to several educational establishments in the province.

32 scholarships presented to disadvantaged students

A ceremony to present scholarships to 110 ethnic minority students and children of poor fishing families took place in the south-central province of Binh Dinh on March 28. 
 
Scholarships granted to impoverished students
(BGO) – The Study Encouragement Association in the northern province of Bac Giang has granted the scholarships to 7 difficult students at Bac Giang High School for Gifted Students achieving the good academic result. 
 
Scholarships presented to needy students in Bac Lieu
The Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and its “For beloved Hoang Sa-Truong Sa” Club handed over 115 scholarships to needy students in the Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu at a ceremony on March 13.
