Representatives of OHH - a volunteer organization working in the field of health and education in Vietnam - visit the treatment area.

Patients coming here are children from 0 to 15 years old who are experiencing psychological problems such as: autism and developmental disorders in children; attention deficit hyperactivity disorder; psychological disorders and psychology-related diseases; pediatric rehabilitation; inpatient treatment and psychological counseling. On average, each month, 25-30 children come to the area for treatment and record positive results. About 400 children have been treated here so far.

Children coming here first get a general examination by doctors to diagnose their problems. The doctors then reply questions raised by parents or order some necessary tests for children - including psychological tests to evaluate skills. After that, the children and their relatives will be given consultancy on intervention plans.

If a child has a serious psychological disorder or needs pediatric rehabilitation, the doctors will recommend a procedure and set a schedule for him/her. The doctors and nurses will meet to discuss individual interventions. Depending on the status and characteristics of each child, they will develop a short-term or long-term individual programme.

The course of treatment takes place here continuously for 3 weeks. After that, the child will have a week off at home so that the parents can practice with her/him and then continue a new round of treatment. All treatment costs for children with autism and developmental delays at the hospital are fully covered by insurance.
