Many donors support Bac Giang province in Covid-19 prevention and control

(BGO) – The Fatherland Front Committee in Bac Giang province on April 1 received the expenses donated by the organizations, individual and enterprises for the Covid-19 combat.

9 organizations, individuals and enterprises donated materials, mostly the necessities and cash to the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control (Steering Committee).

Leader of provincial FFC receives the donation of Bac Giang BGG Garment Corporation Joint Stock Company for Covid-19 fight.

They included Bac Giang BGG Garment Corporation Joint Stock Company (350 million VND or 14,800 USD), Fuji Bac Giang Development JSC (100 million VND or 4,200 USD), Viet Bach Architect JSC (50 million VND), Vinasoy Vietnam (33,000 milk bottles), Viet Medical Import, Export and Investment JSC (50 million VND), Tam Thien Nguyen Son Dong – Bac Giang Club (200 medical protective clothes), office and stores of Ngoc Dong Pharmaceutical Company (35 million VND), former Vice Director of the Health Ministry Truong Quang Vinh and Tran Van Sinh (each donates 10 million VND).

Total of the gift and cash reached nearly 800 million VND (33,900 USD).

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the provincial FFC Tran Cong Thang thanked the sponsors for their joint efforts with the province to fight against the pandemic. Form this source, Bac Giang can support the expense, essential commodities, medical materials ...for the local disease combat.

On April 1, several organizations and firms donated more than 40 million VND, 500 kg of rice, 2,500 medical masks ... to the FFC in Tan Yen district and district Labour Federation for Covid-19 fight. Previously Tan Yen district presented cash and essential commodities such as face masks, sanitizer, thermometer, protective clothes, veggies, roots, fruits... with total value of over 540 million VND (22,900 USD).

Recently, the Medical Center in Lang Giang district received 2,000 medical face masks, 200 protective pairs of glasses for Covid-19 prevention handed over by Phu Quang Gold and Jewellery Company, Minh Thanh Wood Furniture Company, Thanh Cong Shoes...

On the occasion, the provincial Association of War Veteran Businessmen presented 20 million VND to the Steering Committee. Bach Viet Group JSC sponsored a thermal body scan worth 300 million VND to the provincial People’s Committee.

The Agribank Bac Giang Branch II presented 3 sanitization chambers to the provincial General Hospital, Hanoi – Bac Giang International General Hospital and Bac Giang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital totally worth 75 million VND.

Hung Cuong General Hospital (Hiep Hoa district) and Hung Cuong Dental Clinic (Bac Giang city) installed 4 free sanitization chambers to district People’s Committee, Medical Center, communal People’s Committee and Medical Station in Doan Bai commune.

Besides, 4 students Nguyen Tuan Anh, Nguyen Ngoc Hanh, Nguyen Ngoc Quynh and Nguyen Ngoc Thien in Tan Lap village, Dong Tan commune (Hiep Hoa district) spent their lucky money on lunar Tet holiday to donate 4 million VND and 100 sanitizers to the local steering board.

Bac Giang: Military forces actively join hands in Covid-19 combat

(BGO) – The Ministry of National Defense (MoND) on March 30 held an online conference in Hanoi to implement the urgent tasks and measures to control and prevent Covid-19 pandemic in the third stage to the military forces across the nation. The event was chaired by Lieutenant General Tran Don, member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of MoND, Head of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control in the MoND. 

 

Bac Giang enhances grass root medical quality to prevent Covid-19 outbreak in community

(BGO) – The National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control (NSC) on March 30 held an online conference to 63 provinces and cities to enhance the grass root medical quality to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic under the chair of Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen, Vice Head of the  NSC’s Standing Board.

(BGO) - The provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs in northern province of Bac Giang has issued the correspondence on checking and grasping situation of the labour and employment affected by Covid-19 outbreak and quarantine of foreign workers suspected for Covid-19 infection. 

 

PPC Chairman Duong Van Thai urges to early detect suspected cases for isolation, localize to fight Covid-19

(BGO)- The provincial People’s Committee (PPC) of Bac Giang province on 26 March held an online meeting with the districts and city to review the fight against Covid-19 and assign tasks for coming time. PPC Chairman Duong Van Thai, Head of the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control chaired the meeting.
