Vietnam records no new cases of Covid-19 on April 26 morning

Vietnam reported no new cases of Covid-19 on April 26 morning, keeping the country’s total number of infections at 270, the national steering committee for the coronavirus prevention and control said.

Of those, 225 people have fully recovered, accounting for 83%.

Since April 16, Vietnam has not reported any new infections among the community.

Five more Covid-19 patients, including a Danish, were declared to have fully recovered from the disease on April 25, 2020.

Of the 45 patients being treated at six health facilities nationwide, 13 have tested negative for the SARS-CoV-2 once and three have tested negative twice.

As many as 52,196 people are under quarantine or health monitoring, including 325 at hospitals, 9,836 at other facilities and 42,035 at home or their accommodations.

No new case of Covid-19 was detected over the past 12 hours, so the number remained at 268 as of 6 am on April 20, according to the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.
