Sponsored scholarships granted to impoverished children

(BGO) – The Fund of Bac Giang for Children in Bac Giang province has granted 42 sponsored scholarships and several gifts in cash to the children living in special difficulties.

The scholarships were sponsored by Asian Hope Association (French) with total value of nearly 120 million VND (5,200 USD).

The scholarship programme sponsored by Asian Hope Association has been launched in Bac Giang province since 2011 to benefit impoverished children such as orphan and children with disabilities in poor families.

Annually, the Fund of Bac Giang for Children organizes two events to present the scholarships to the children before and after the academic year, lasting from kindergarten to university or post graduate.

Additionally, the Asian Hope Association sponsors expenses to equip water filter systems to the kindergarten and primary schools.
