More than 65,000 Bac Giang’s trade unionists benefit from welfare programme

(BGO) – Since July 2017, the Labor Federation in Bac Giang province has inked the cooperation agreement on welfare programme for members of trade union with 21 agencies and enterprises. 

As the result, more than 65,000 trade unionists have had chance to use products and services under preferential price with total benefited value of about 8.3 billion VND (358,130 USD).

The workers buy commodities at M-Market opened at Bac Giang LGG Garment Corporation Joint Stock Company.

Some companies have implemented welfare programmes for trade unionists such as Co.opmart Bac Giang; Vietnam Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade, Bac Giang branch; Bac Giang VNPT Business Center.

Basing on the agreement, since 2019, the provincial Labor Federation has coordinated with the partners to implement 3 models of “Store in business” at 3 enterprises (Bac Giang LGG Garment Corporation Joint Stock Company, Newwing interconnect Technology Company Limited in Van Trung industrial park and Ha Phong Export Garment JSC in Hiep Hoa district).

Everyday, the store supplies the essential products and commodities to some 20,000 members of trade union and labourers with discount price.
