(BGO) – On May 27, the Labour Federation in Viet Yen and Yen Dung districts in Bac Giang province established 6 “Zero VND” supermarkets at the locations with many workers, making up total number of “Zero VND” supermarkets in two districts up to 21.
To operate these supermarkets, the provincial Labour Federation provided 2.5 tonnes of rice, 990 boxes of instant noodle, 215 kg of rice noodle, 6,000 eggs, vegetables, shampoo, face masks...to deliver to workers free of charge.

From various sources of donation, the provincial Labour Federation has provided many commodities with total value of over 1.7 billion VND (73,768 USD) since establishment of zero VND supermarkets.

As schedule, in the upcoming time, the localities will continue calling for the donation to open more supermarkets to assist workers to stabilize the life and join hands in disease prevention and control.
