(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Bac Giang province (PPC) on July 27 held a ceromony to see off the second medical working delegation to support Tay Ninh province in Covid-19 fight.
The delegates have 50 doctors and nurses coming from different hospitals of provincial General Hospital, Lung Hospital, Tumour Hospital, Traditional Medicine Hospital, Mental Hospital and some district medical centers who are experienced in caring and treating local Covid-19 patients recently, especially critical ill cases.

Addressing at the event, PPC Permanent Vice Chairman Mai Son acknowledged and highly appreciated the voluntary spirit of the medics as the joint efforts with Tay Ninh to prevent the disease.
The provincial leader called for their activeness to assist and share the professional experiences in disease prevention and control in Bac Giang province from ech stage of tracing, testing and curing to ensure safe condition within quarantined sites while widespreading Bac Giang’s spirit of “fighting the pandemic is like fighting the enemy” to the friend province.

The communication task should be well implemented to the patients and colleagues in Tay Ninh province. During the period, the volunteers were encouraged to create good impression, promote Bac Giang’s culture to the officials and people in the friend locality.
At the event, the provincial Red Cross Society donated 40,000 medical face masks, 1,000 N95 face masks, more than 1,000 protective suits at level 2 and 4, 1,500 sanitizers to Tan Chau district, Tay Ninh province. Mean while, the provincial Women’s Union presented 20 tonnes of rice.

Since the fourth disease outbreak, six medical volunteer delegation in Bac Giang province have departed to support Ho Chi Minh city and Southern localities in disease combat with total members of 558.
