CDC Bac Giang provides charged RT-PCR test service

(BGO) – To recover and accelerate the social – economic activities and ensure disease preventive requirements, the Center of Disease Control (CDC) in Bac Giang province has set up fix site to take sample for SARS-CoV-2 test by RT-PCR method with charge for any case on demand in the province.

Accordingly, the citizen will receive test result within 24 hours after taking samples at the facility set up at the lake island area in Ngo Gia Tu Park (Bac Giang city) which can take about 150 specimens per day.

The service costs 734,000 VND (32 USD) per person per time. In case of taking combined samples (from 2 – 10 tubes), the cost will reduced (163,000 VND to 417,000 VND per person per time), depending on the numbers of combination.

As schedule, the provincial CDC will establish more fix sampling points as well as mobile sampling locations at the industrial parks to serve businesses with small number of workers.

The fix and mobile sampling procedures assist the enterprises, citizens and free labours to conduct tests quickly, timely, accurately so as to ensure the requirement of organizations, agencies, employers and localities to partly realize the dual task of disease prevention and socio-economic development.

Facing this situation, with the spirit of "mutual support", some units and localities have quickly mobilized human resources and means to support Bac Giang in combating the pandemic.
