370 Bac Giang’s students awarded “Because you are studious” scholarship

(BGO)- The provincial Study Promotion Association of Bac Giang province, Viettel Bac Giang and the Department of Education and Training on September August morning jointly held the “Vi em hieu hoc” (Because you are studious) scholarship awarding programme for poor students gaining good study results in Son Dong district.

In Bac Giang, this programme has been launched by Viettel Bac Giang, the provincial Study Promotion Association, the Department of Education and Training and the provincial Fatherland Front’s Committee in 52 poor and safety-zone communes of 5 districts including Hiep Hoa, Yen The, Luc Nam, Luc Ngan and Son Dong.

Representatives of the provincial Study Promotion Association and Department of Education and Training receive the symbol of 740 million VND of “Because you are studious” scholarship from the donors.

Under the message “when million little dreams need one big good deed”, 3,640 scholarships, worth total 3.6 million VND (158,153 USD), have been granted to students via the programme for 7 years.

In 2021, the programme is launched in the mountainous communes of region 2 and region 3 in 4 districts of Son Dong, Luc Ngan, Luc Nam and Yen The under Prime Minister’s Decision No 861/QD-TTg dated June 4, 2021.

Accordingly, 370 primary and secondary school students living in disadvantaged circumstances in 37 communes and towns across the province benefit from this programme with 2 million VND (87.8 USD) per each and total value of 740 million VND (32,500 USD).

At the event, permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mai Son and representatives of related departments, agencies, localities and donors presented scholarships to 170 students in Son Dong district.

He hoped Viettel Bac Giang will continue accompanying the party committee, government at all levels and the provincial Study Promotion Association to pay more attention to the study and talent promotion of the province. The students who received scholarships this time should make ceaseless efforts to gain high study results.

90 “Dream on the wings” scholarships granted to impoverished children

Sponsored scholarships granted to impoverished children

(BGO) – The Fund of Bac Giang for Children in Bac Giang province has granted 42 sponsored scholarships and several gifts in cash to the children living in special difficulties.

 

Scholarships presented to encourage learning among all

As many as 144 people, both children and adults, were granted with the first-ever “Learning never ends” scholarship by the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education (VAPE) in Hanoi on June 14.

 

3 students at Bac Giang Ngo Gia Tu College granted with German scholarships

(BGO) – The Ministry of Education and Training (Vietnam) has coordinated with the Ministry of Science and Technology at  Hessen State, WUS International University Support (Germany) to grant the scholarships to 93 students studying at the universities and colleges across Vietnam, each worth over 5 million VND (215 USD) at the Temple of Literature (Hanoi).
