Bac Giang allows people to travel by passenger cars to eight provincies and cities

(BGO) – After finalizing with provincies and cities, the Department of Transport in Bac Giang province on October 14 afternoon issued document to pilot road passenger transportation service and ensure safety, flexibility and effectively control of Covid-19 pandemic.

Accordingly, the passengers can travel from Bac Giang province to the provinces and cities of Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Hoa Binh, Tuyen Quang, Bac Kan, Hai Phong (green localities/areas) and Nghe An (yellow locality) from 0am on October 14 till the end of October 20, 2021.

The vehicles of Bac Giang Passenger Transportation Joint Stock Company are ready to resume operation.

The resumed route from Bac Giang to Hai Phong city and return trip: 100 percent of the trips per route from Thuong Ly Station to Bac Giang Station. Each car is allowed to transport maximum of 50 percent of the designed seats and not over 20 people including driver and assistant. The passengers must seat in safe distance to prevent the disease infection.

The route from Bac Giang to Tuyen Quang and return trip: 30 percent of the trips per route per transportation supplier. Each car is allowed to transport maximum of 50 percent of the designed seats.

The route from Bac Giang to Hoa Binh and return trip: 30 percent of the trips per route per accepted figure.

The route from Bac Giang to Quang Ninh: 100 percent of the trips per route per accepted figure from Bac Giang to Bai Chay, Son Dong to Bai Chay and Cau Go to Cai Rong.

The route from Bac Giang to Nghe An and return trip: Maximum 50 percent of the trips per route. Each car is allowed to transport maximum of 50 percent of the designed seats and not over 20 people including driver and assistant. The passengers must seat in safe distance to prevent the disease infection.

The routes from Bac Giang to Bac Ninh, Lang Son and Thai Nguyen resume normal operation and ensure disease preventive measures.

Particularly, the route from Bac Giang to Hanoi is still suspended because Hanoi Department of Transport has yet to allow the resumption.

Currently, about 80 percent of drivers and assistant in Bac Giang province have fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and ready to work.
