(BGO) – Amid the complicated development of Covid-19 pandemic, the Steering Board for Covid-19 prevention and control in Bac Giang city (Bac Giang province) has enhanced application of information technology into communicating, tracing, vaccinating among others to help speed up the schedule and improve the disease preventive efficiency.
Over 93 percent of population make health declaration
To increase the effectiveness of disease prevention and control, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee directed the competent forces, communes and wards tol call on officials, workers and people using smart phone to install PC-Covid app and E-Health Record to create QR code.

The municipal Culture and Information Division has cooperated with other agencies to launch peak period to assist citizens to create QR code on PC-Covid and E-Health Record from November 1 – 6. Particularly, the agencies placed QR Code at public and crowded areas; requested organizations, agencies, business facilities to install and paste QR Code then instruct customers to make health declaration by scanning the code.
The wards and communes assigned the youth as key force to communicate on loudspeaker, mobile motorbike three to four times per day while the community Covid teams visit household in person to guide the installation of these apps.
Previously, the communal Youth Union founded voluntary Youth Team with 30 members who are used to information technology to support the enterprises and business households in the city to install labour tracing software in the companies and PC-Covid.
So far, more than 2,400 operating firms in the city have installed labour tracing software, representing 100 percent.

Accelerating communication, correcting any violation
The city has enhanced online meeting to raise the effectiveness of direction, management; restrict the direct contact and reduce the risk of disease infection. Following the instruction, all levels and competent sectors, wards and communes have focused on communication via zalo and facebook.
All contents, regulation and disease preventive measures are posted on fanpage of functional sectors, agencies, organization...together with vivid image to draw attention of citizens.

However, the actual survey proved that several facilities failed to strictly follow the requirement on scanning QR code.
According to Pham Hung Son, Head of the municipal Culture and Information Division, the Division requested wards, communes, organizations and agencies to order the officials, public servant, cadre and labours to be the first to make health declaration at the place with QR Code, especially when coming to handle administrative procedure and working issue.
The urban order force and community Covid team shoud regularly inspect, correct and remind the shop owners and business facilities to guide and request customers to strictly follow 5K principle from the Health Ministry, consisting of khau trang (face masks), khu khuan (disinfection), khoang cach (distancing), khong tu tap (no gatherings), and khai bao y te (health declarations); accelerate the communication to raise people’s awareness about daily health declaration.
Local authority must arrange only one way entrance to open markets with staff on duty to communicate and remind the sellers and buyers on serious implementation. The municipal Steering Committee should regularly inspect and correct any violation.
