Despite the impacts of Covid-19, Hanoi still managed to create 136,616 jobs in the first ten months of 2021, equivalent to 85.3% of the full-year target, according to the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
The capital city is aiming to create 160,000 jobs by the end of the year through the implementation of a wide range of measures including providing preferential loans for job creation, organising online and offline job fairs, and providing training for workers who have lost their jobs.
