Bac Giang cares for needy people on Tet occasion

(BGO) - Striving to present Tet gifts to all poor households in Tan Yen district (Bac Giang province) (2,459 families) each worth 500,000 VND, the district Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) has called on officials, public servants and labours at organizations, agencies as well as the soldiers and armed forces in the district to donate at least one day salary or income.

Also, the FFC has appealed the enterprises and kind-hearted people in and outside the district to donate expenses and commodities to support the poor and disadvantaged cases in the area.

Vice Permanent Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council Lam Thi Huong Thanh and leader of provincial Red Cross Society hand over the support amount to family of Pham Thi Hoi in Lien Son commune, Tan Yen district.

The donation time is from January 4 - 27, 2022. The fund-raising and gifting will be done under the principle of equity for proper subject to partly help the poor welcome a cosy Tet.

The Red Cross Society in Luc Ngan district has cooperated with Violet Rose Charity Club to hand over 34.4 million VND mobilized by the district Humanitarian Fund, kind-hearted organizations, businesses and individuals to brothers Ninh Manh Cuong (born in 2005) and Ninh Duc Viet (born in 2011) in Cong village, Kien Lao commune.

They are suffered from congenital hemolysis and now live with mothers and grandmother.

Violet Rose Charity Club was founded in December 2017 under the provincial Red Cross Society. Annually, the club calls for donation of nearly 300 million VND to support the poor, disadvantaged households and offer humanitarian porridge at several hospitals and district medical centers.

Bac Giang business gives highest Tet bonus of nearly 10,000 USD per person

(BGO) – The highest bonus for 2022 Lunar New Year of 228 million VND (nearly 10,000 USD) is given by Fugiang Company Limited (Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd ) in Van Trung industrial park, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province, reported the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA).

Bac Giang’s DoFA visits and extends Tet greeting to KOICA

(BGO) – On December 12, Pham Duong Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DoFA) in Bac Giang province paid visit and extended Tet greeting to Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The delegation was received by the Country Director Cho Han-Deog.

(BGO) – Welcoming New Year 2022, on December 17, Member of Bac Giang provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Mai Son and working delegation paid visits to extend Tet greeting to Embassies of Russia and Israel to Vietnam; Asian Development Bank (ADB) and United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
