(BGO) - Striving to present Tet gifts to all poor households in Tan Yen district (Bac Giang province) (2,459 families) each worth 500,000 VND, the district Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) has called on officials, public servants and labours at organizations, agencies as well as the soldiers and armed forces in the district to donate at least one day salary or income.
Also, the FFC has appealed the enterprises and kind-hearted people in and outside the district to donate expenses and commodities to support the poor and disadvantaged cases in the area.

The donation time is from January 4 - 27, 2022. The fund-raising and gifting will be done under the principle of equity for proper subject to partly help the poor welcome a cosy Tet.
The Red Cross Society in Luc Ngan district has cooperated with Violet Rose Charity Club to hand over 34.4 million VND mobilized by the district Humanitarian Fund, kind-hearted organizations, businesses and individuals to brothers Ninh Manh Cuong (born in 2005) and Ninh Duc Viet (born in 2011) in Cong village, Kien Lao commune.
They are suffered from congenital hemolysis and now live with mothers and grandmother.
Violet Rose Charity Club was founded in December 2017 under the provincial Red Cross Society. Annually, the club calls for donation of nearly 300 million VND to support the poor, disadvantaged households and offer humanitarian porridge at several hospitals and district medical centers.
