Two female youth union officials in Bac Giang awarded Ly Tu Trong Prize

(BGO)- The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Central Committee has decided to award Ly Tu Trong Prize in 2022 to 94 outstanding youth union officials nationwide. Of which, two female youth union officials of Bac Giang province were awarded this noble prize. This is the first year the province has two individuals receiving Ly Tu Trong Prize.

Ly Tu Trong Prize is to honour outstanding youth union officials selected nationwide. Two female youth union officials of Bac Giang province receiving the prize this year include Giap Thi Due, Secretary of the HCYU of Ngoc Chau commune, Tan Yen district who represents the youth in the block of residential areas and Nguyen Thi Lien, Secretary of the HCYU of Ly Thuong Kiet High School (Viet Yen district) representing the youth in the school block in the entire province.

Giap Thi Due (born in 1989) has had many initiatives and creative ideas in establishing clubs for the youth and children, building and organizing the youth union, developing the youth volunteer movement and building new-style rural areas. Nguyen Thi Lien (born in 1990) has gained outstanding achievements in taking part in the youth programmes and activities in educational sector. Besides, Lien actively participated and organized several activities to support the fight against Covid-19

The Programme to honour the outstanding youth union officials and award Ly Tu Trong Prize in 2022 is scheduled on March 23 in Hanoi in online platform. The individuals will be presented certificate of merit by the HCYU Central Committee, logo, certification and awards.
