Many facilities provide post Covid-19 consultation and healthcare service

(BGO) – To improve and enhance physical strength for recovered Covid-19 patients, the Bac Giang provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital has launched consultation and healthcare service for post Covid-19 period.

The hospital applies intensive methods of traditional medicine and rehabilitation in associated with modern medicine to take care of patients such as acupuncture, fitness training, massage, acupressure, medicinal sauna, electrotherapy and Intravascular laser.

Patients are under treatment for post Covid-19 symptoms at Bac Giang provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital.

Any case on demand can contact to the hospital hotline at 0204.3662169 (in working hours) or 0976039710 (24 hours) for assistance. Currently, nearly 70 in and out patients have been treated here, including five critical cases.

As of March 17, the province had five provincial level medical hospitals providing this service, including provincial General Hospital, Pediatric and Obstetric Hospital, Rehabilitation Hospital, Traditional Medicine Hospital and Lung Hospital while the Medical Center in Tan Yen, Hiep Hoa and Luc Nam districts also have this service done.

Bac Giang provincial General Hospital provides health examination, consultation and treatment services for post Covid-19 symptoms.

Apart from direct assistance, the medical establishments arrange staff on duty to provide phone consultation for remote patients. Each facility daily receives 15 to 20 patients who call to the hotline or directly come for consultation and treatment for post Covid-19 recovery.

The patients are treated for post Covid-19 symptoms with cost covered by social insurance while no charge is applied for direct and phone consultation.

Over 3,500 Covid-19 patients released from hospitals in Bac Giang

(BGO) – Bac Giang province on June 28 released more 228 Covid-19 patients from hospital, reported the provincial Department of Health.

 

Bac Giang: First Covid-19 patient using ECMO discharged from hospital

(BGO) - On June 27, at the Bac Giang Lung Hospital, patient Ph.H.Th. (patient 6547) from Le Loi ward (Bac Giang city) was discharged from hospital. This was the first case using extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in the province, who suffered the most severe symptoms among the patients treated here.

 

Covid patient fined for escaping hospital to buy food

A Covid-19 patient in Bac Giang who scaled the walls of a field hospital to go out and buy food has been fined VND17.5 million ($761.64).

 

2,074 Covid – 19 patients discharged from hospital in Bac Giang province

(BGO) – According to the Department of Health, Bac Giang province had 181 Covid-19 patients  released from several hospitals and medical centers on June 20. 

 

Bac Giang: Another 46 Covid-19 patients discharged from hospital

(BGO) – 46 Covid-19 patients in Bac Giang province were released from hospital on June 13, according to the provincial Department of Health.
