(BGO) – On April 5, the provincial Public Security held meeting to implement programmes to ensure public order and security for badminton event at the 31st Southeastern Asian Games (SEA Games 31) in Bac Giang province under the chair of Colonel Do Duc Trinh, Vice Director of the provincial Public Security, Head of Public Security Sub-Committee to serve badminton event at SEA Games 31.
The participants focused discussion on best implementation of various programmes to ensure the public order and security for badminton competition at the upcoming sport event in the province.

Particularly, high attention will be paid to ensuring order and security, safety of fire and explosion at the competition venue and accommodation place of the athletes, and sports officials during the preparation and competition days.
The provincial Public Security highly focuses on grasping the situation, ensuring the cybersecurity to timely detect and investigate any gambling issues relating to competition activities within the SEA Games 31 in general and badminton event in particular.
Moreover, the authority will tightly control over the immigration, accommodation and travel of participating athletes, sports officials and foreigners while well ensuring the order and security, traffic safety, delegation instruction during the competition, disease prevention and control for public security force serving the badminton competition at SEA Games 31 in Bac Giang province.
As schedule, SEA Games 31 will open on May 12, 2022 at My Dinh National Stadium (Hanoi city) and close on May 23, 2022 at Hanoi Athletic Palace. The badminton event is competed from May 16 – 22, 2022 at Bac Giang Gymnasium with the participation from over 120 players of eight countries.
