Over 63,000 lodgers declare on “Boarding house management” software in Bac Giang

(BGO) - As of June 22, more than 4,800 owners of the boarding houses and 63,000 lodgers declared information on “Bac Giang boarding house management” software in Bac Giang province, informed the provincial Department of Public Security, helping grassroots staff strongly apply information technology in managing, ensuring public order and security as well as knowing about the residents’ data.

Particularly, over 48,300 lodgers from Viet Yen district, over 10,900 people from Yen Dung district, 3,700 people in Bac Giang city declared information on the software.

To gain this result, the Public Security forces in the province, districts and city have closely cooperated and mobilized youth members to implement and instruct how to use the software.

It was designed by the provincial Departments of Public Security, Information and Communication and put in use in October 2021 to support the competent agencies to control over boarding house business, lodgers as well as apply information technology in population database management.

Besides, the software will integrate with the column of “Labour - Job” on the Portal of Bac Giang provincial Industrial Park Management Board to help the lodgers find suitable jobs.

Job and boarding-house “ATMs” to support workers amid pandemic

The Youth Social Work Centre under the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee will launch two programmes - “Community-based Job ATMs” and “Community-based boarding-house ATMs to support workers who are living in difficulty in Ho Chi Minh City.

Viet Yen builds safe boarding house model amid pandemic

(BGO) - Following the direction of the provincial Party Committee, People's Committee and Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, Viet Yen district has launched a “general offensive” against the pandemic. Along with transporting workers to their home localities when there are no jobs, the district has cleaned the environment around boarding houses in the villages and areas under lockdown and medical monitoring, so as to soon bring life back to normal.
