(BGO) - Implementing Decision No.08/2022/QD-TTg on March 28 of Prime Minister about implementing housing rent support for labours, the People’s Committees in Bac Giang city and three districts of Viet Yen, Yen Dung and Hiep Hoa have received proposals from 293 turns of businesses and supported more than 104,600 turns of labours with total amount of over 52.8 billion VND (2.27 million USD).
After verifying the document, the localities have decided to approve for 194 turns of companies to assist more than 91,800 turns of employees with total paid amount of over 46.2 billion VND.

So far, localities have allocated expenses to pay for more than 57,400 labours from 156 turns of enterprises with total amount of about 29 billion VND, including 130 labours from Hiep Hoa district to receive 66.5 million VND (accounting for 100 percent of the approved cases).
Viet Yen district has the biggest number of approved beneficiaries with more than 87,900 cases. To date, the district has disbursed nearly 27.4 billion VND to over 54,200 labours.
As the implementation plan of Decision No.08, the deadline for proposal submission from businesses is August 15, 2022. To ensure the rights of labours, the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs continues cooperating with the provincial Industrial Park Management Board, sectors and localities to enhance communication and expedite business to speed up proposal making schedule then seriously verify the document. The People’s Committee in the districts and city should pay due attention to arrange and allocate the expense to complete payment for approved cases.
