Bac Giang ranks third in contest for excellent students at high school for gifted students in Coastal and Northern Delta Region

(BGO) – The 13rd contest for excellent students at high school for gifted students in Coastal and Northern Delta Region in 2022 (Contest) was held at Tran Phu High School for Gifted Student in Hai Phong province drawing nearly 1,900 candidates at grade 10 and 11 from 42 delegations of High School for Gifted Students in provinces, cities and universities.

71 students of Bac Giang High School for Gifted Student attended 11 subjects in the Contest, including Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Literature, History, Geography, English, Frech and Chinese.

64 out of 71 participating students won 12 golds, 20 silvers, 22 bronzes and 10 consolation medals for Bac Giang delegation.

The gold medalists at grade 10 were Than The Cong (Physisc), Giap Vu Son Ha (Chemistry), Nguyen Minh Sang and Ha Thi Hong Yen (Biology); Chu Thi Hang and Dinh Huong Ly (History); Le Thi Lan Anh (Geography) while the gold winners at grade 11 consisted of Nguyen Huu Hoan (Biology); Nguyen Ngoc Linh and Ha thi Thanh Trang (Geography) and Nguyen Ngoc Linh (English).

Bac Giang delegation secured third place out of 42 schools both in quality and number of the prizes. The first overall ranking was awarded to Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted Student in Nam Dinh province with 65 prizes of 17 golds, 22 silvers, 20 bronzes and 6 consolations).

The Contest provides teachers and students with chance for exchanging, studying and sharing experiences of teaching and studying to enhance the quality of key education in localities while detecting and creating sources for national excellent student team.

Startup Kite contest launched for vocational education students

The contest entitled “Startup ideas for vocational education students – Startup Kite 2022” was launched by the General Department of Vocational Training under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) in Ho Chi Minh City on June 24.

Three Bac Giang students with highest score at entrance exam to grade 10

(BGO) – At the entrance examination to grade 10 held on June 4, three students in Bac Giang province gained the highest score. They are excellent students with great effort in studying, practicing and improving the knowledge.
