(BGO) - Implementing Decision No.08/2022/QD-TTg on March 28 of Prime Minister about implementing housing rent support for labours (Decision 08), so far Bac Giang city and three districts of Viet Yen, Yen Dung and Hiep Hoa have received proposals from 596 turns of businesses to support more than 171,200 turns of labours with total amount of nearly 88 billion VND (3.76 million USD).
After verifying the document, the localities have decided to approve for 323 turns of companies to assist more than 108,300 turns of employees with total paid amount of over 54.9 billion VND (accounting for 62.4 percent of the proposed amount).

To date, the city and districts have allocated expenses to pay for more than 107,300 turns of labours from 310 turns of enterprises with total paid amount of over 54.4 billion VND (representing 99 percent of labours with approved decision), including 100 percent of employees from Bac Giang city and Hiep Hoa district.
Viet Yen district has the biggest number of submitted companies with more than 528 turns, 274 of which were approved. However, the district balanced and arranged the budget to disburse the allowance for 100 percent of labours with approved decision of more than 100,800 cases with total payment of nearly 51 billion VND.
As the implementation plan of Decision No.08, the deadline for proposal submission from businesses is August 15, 2022. To ensure the rights of labours, the relevant departments, organizations and agencies should focus on urging enterprises to speed up proposal making schedule then seriously verify the document. The People’s Committee in the districts and city should pay due attention to arrange and allocate the expense to complete payment for approved cases.
