From now till this year end, the local companies demand to employ about 20,000 labours, 25 percent year on year increase, including nearly 16,000 untrained workers.

Moreover, the mobile job transaction session is enhanced at many districts to provide online connection to adjacent provinces like Ha Giang, Lao Cai and Tuyen Quang among others to seek labours for enterprises.

One of the obstacles in connecting labour demand – supply is the limited information and forecast about labour market. With the assigned responsibility, the Department will continue cooperating with sectors and localities to accelerate the task of assignment, vocational guidance and training from secondary school as well as widespread the models that link to business in training and supplying human resources on the spot.

At the same time, the Department consults the provincial People’s Committee to establish the system to forecast and provide labour market information sufficiently and accurately basing on reviewing the businesses’ recruitment demand, hence connecting labour demand – supply suitably in term of number, age and qualification in order to optimize the labour force.
