Four ethnic students in Bac Giang honored

(BGO) – The Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs joined hands with the Ministry of Education and Training and Central Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (CYU) to honor 142 outstanding ethnic youth and students in 2022, four of whom came from the north province of Bac Giang.

They included Tay student Hoang Thanh Huyen (born in 2004), Nung student Trinh Vi Giang Xuan (born in 2004), San Diu student Duong Thi Linh (born in 2004) and Dao student Trieu Ban Tuyet Nhi (born in 2004).

Hoang Thanh Huyen is now first year student at Foreign Trade University. She was born in An Lac commune (Son Dong district). When she studied at Chinese honor class in Bac Giang High School for the Gifted, Huyen won first prize at national contest of excellent students in Chinese in 2022.

Trinh Vi Giang Xuan lives in Huong Lac commune (Lang Giang district) and nows studies at Hanoi University of Technology. Previously, the ex-student of class 12A1 in Lang Giang No.1 High School scored 28.65 (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) in national graduation contest in July 2022.

Duong Thi Linh was born in Giap Son commune (Luc Ngan district). Now she is a first year student at Hanoi University of Commerce. She gained high score at univeristy entrance examination in 2022 with 28.75. Linh used to study at Bac Giang provincial Ethnic Boarding High School.

Trieu Ban Tuyet Nhi lives in Tay Yen Tu town (Son Dong district). She nows studies at University of Economics - Technology for Industries. When studying at Son Dong No.3 High School, she won gold medal at national rod pushing tournament in 2022, 3 gold medals at Bac Giang Tur of War Championship in 2022, gold medal at Bac Giang rod pushing competition in 2022. Nhi also represents Bac Giang sport delegation to compete at tur of war game at the nineth National Sport Festival to be held on December 12.

"Excellent Bac Giang Citizen" title honors community contributors

(BGO) - In 2022, for the first time, Bac Giang province awards the title of "Excellent Bac Giang Citizen" to people who make great contributions to the community. Up to now, the preparation work has been basically completed, with the list of 10 individuals nominated for the title approved by the provincial Council for Emulation and Commendation.

(BGO) – Many excellent students in Bac Giang province had high score in 2022 national high school graduation exam and entrance exam to university.

 

Bac Giang ranks third in contest for excellent students at high school for gifted students in Coastal and Northern Delta Region

(BGO) – The 13rd contest for excellent students at high school for gifted students in Coastal and Northern Delta Region in 2022 (Contest) was held at Tran Phu High School for Gifted Student in Hai Phong province drawing nearly 1,900 candidates at grade 10 and 11 from 42 delegations of High School for Gifted Students in provinces, cities and universities.

 

Vallet scholarships were presented to 155 excellent students

The 'Rencontres du Vietnam' Association presented the Vallet Scholarship 2022, on August 30, to students with excellent academic achievements in the Central Highlands region and two provinces of Khanh Hoa, and Ninh Thuan.

 

SEA Games 31 athletes receive honour for excellent performance

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh has signed a decision awarding the Prime Minister’s certificates of merit to 305 athletes who scored excellent performances at the recently concluded 31st Southeast Asian Games.
