Highest Tet bonus to hit over 5,100 USD

(BGO) – The highest Tet bonus this year will be estimated at 120.5 million VND (over 5,100 USD) in Bac Giang BGG Garment Corporation Joint Stock Company in Bac Giang city (Bac Giang province), reported the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA).

It is followed by the bonus given to labour at Fuyu Precision Technology Company Limited in Quang Chau industrial park that is over 90 million VND.

The lowest bonus of 100,000 VND will be given to labour at some foreign direct investment and household businesses.

Basing the bonus plan for the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday submitted by 293 companies to the DoLISA, the average Tet bonus is 5.6 million VND per person, up 8.8 percent year on year.

14 businesses plan to give Tet bonus less than one million VND per person; 3 give bonus of one to 1.5 million VND per person; 126 give bonus of 1.5 to less than 5 million VND per person; 123 give bonus of 5 to less than 10 million VND per person and 27 others give bonus of over 10 million VND per person.

According to the plan of 168 companies, the average New Year bonus is around 255,000 VND per person, rasing 4.8 percent against the bonus in 2022.

The report of 323 businesses with more than 223,800 labours in the province proved that the 2022 average salary hit 7.6 million VND per person per month, up 2 percent against 2021 bonus.

So far, two companies in Hoang Mai industrial cluster and Dinh Tram industrial park (Viet Yen district) have owed salary of 321 labours with total amount of over 3.6 billion VND.
