(BGO) – Responding to the plan to care for trade unionists and labours on Lunar New Year 2023 and organize programme “Reunited Tet holiday and spring” launched by the Labour Confederation in Bac Giang province, the Trade Union at the provincial industrial park and grassroots trade union cooperated with businesses to hold many activities to care for Tet of workers.
The Trade Union and Haem Vina Company Limited in Song Khe – Noi Hoang industrial park has recently organized programme “Year-end festival – Lucky draw” totally worth over 500 million VND mobilized by the grassroots trade union and company.

The annual activity offered over 1,100 labours at the business chance to exchange sports, art and collective games. Particularly, 50 outstanding workers in production emulation were honored. From now on till this year end, the trade union will review the needy case then propose company to present Tet gift each worth one million VND.
Besides, Siflex Vietnam Company Limited in Quang Chau industrial park now employs more than 6,200 workers. To encourage them on New Year and Lunar New Year holidays, the trade union at the company on December 30 organized programme “Reunited Tet holiday in 2023”.

Over 500 million VND was mobilized to launch lucky draw with several valuable gifts such as motorbike, television, fridge, washing machine, electric bike as well as “Siflex beauty contest”.
Apart from the trade union’s gift (worth 450,000 VND per set), each labour will be given a 13th month salary with average value of 6 million VND on the upcoming Lunar New Year.
Ngo Duc Thang, Chairman of the Trade Union at the provincial industrial park said it now manages 187 grassroots trade unions mostly in the businesses with over 147,800 members. Because two biggest holidays are close to each other so many enterprises have recently launched event to pay tribute to and encourage the labour under various forms.

From now on till the Lunar New Year, the Trade Union at the provincial industrial park continues reviewing the salary and bonus situation; timely cooperating with relevant agencies to instruct grassroots trade union to handle any arising conflict while presenting 600 Tet gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) from the provincial Labour Confederation to impoverished labour.
At the same time, the trade union focuses on planning the programme “Accompanying labours to hometown on 2023 Lunar New Year” to take the labours living at distance to reunite with their families. It is scheduled on January 19, 2023 or lunar December 28, 2022.
