Bac Giang delegates visit and extend Tet greetings to Bac Ninh and Vietnam Buddhist Shangha

(BGO) – On January 11, a delegation of Bac Giang province led by Duong Van Thai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee (PPC) and head of the provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies visited and extended Tet greetings to Bac Ninh province.

On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Bac Giang province, PPC’s Secretary Duong Van Thai wished the Party Committee, government, armed force and people of Bac Ninh province a Happy New Year of the Cat with peace and prosperity.

He hoped two provinces will continue promoting the tradition of solidarity, cooperation; enhancing communication and exchanging experience in directing, managing the socio-economic development; building strong Party, government and authority, contributing to building more thriving homelands.

The member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Bac Ninh PPC and head of the provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies Nguyen Anh Tuan expressed his thanks for fine sentiments of Bac Giang province and affirmed that Bac Ninh province always promotes the tradition of solidarity between two localities.

The Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mai Son extends Tet greeting to Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet.

He felt delighted and proud of Bac Giang’s recent prominent results. The Bac Ninh provincial leader wished the Party Committee, government and people of Bac Giang province a happy and prosperous New Year.

On the same day, the provincial leaders of Bac Giang province visited and extended Tet greetings to Ngo Dinh Loan, former Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee of Ha Bac province.

The Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mai Son and delegates extend Tet greeting to Venerable Thich Thanh Dung.

Also, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mai Son paid a pre-Tet visit to extend Tet greetings to Venerable Thich Thanh Dung in Ham Long pagoda (Bac Ninh city) and Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet, deputy president of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Non Nuoc pagoda in Soc Son district (Hanoi city).

Hanoi to roll out public bicycle sharing service this Tet

A public bicycle sharing service will be tried out starting January 20 in six Hanoi districts, with rentals at VND5,000 (20 cents) for 30 minutes.

Nearly 200 Vietnamese citizens arrived home from Japan on a free flight operated by the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on December 29 ahead of the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday.
