(BGO) – Responding to the campaign “Tet for the poor in 2023”, Bac Giang province has received more than 63,000 gifts totally worth over 38 billion VND (1.6 million USD), reported the provincial Fatherland Front’s Committee (FFC).
All poor households in the province (17,946 sets) were presented Tet gift, each worth 600,000 VND while 11,490 sets were gifted to near poor families and remaining ones for other cases.

Some big donors were Lam Son Construction and Trading Company Limited (over 3.8 billion VND); Tan Thinh Construction Company Limited (3.6 billion VND); Bac Giang branch of Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (1.3 billion VND)…
To gain high result in this campaign, the provincial FFC directed the FFC in the districts and city to enhance communication, mobilize various sources to present gift for the poor while receiving and allocating the gifts suitably to proper cases.
Besides, the FFC member organizations handed over dozens thousands of gift sets in material like clothes, blankets, tickets, studying tools…to disadvantaged families.
So far, all gifts have been presented to the poor, near poor and impoverished households to welcome Lunar New Year 2023.
On the occasion of Tet holiday, all chapters of war veteran association in the province presented thousands of gifts worth over 1.5 billion VND to policy beneficiaries as well as humanitarian houses to some members, helping share the difficulties with them to enjoy cosy and happy new spring.
