(BGO)- The Center for Information Technology and Communication (under the Department of Information and Communication) has launched a trial version of the product “mobile application platform serving Bac Giang citizens to implement online public services” named “DVC Bac Giang”.
This app is now available on IOS and Androi platforms. Citizens and enterprises can access app stores on their mobile phones to download app “DVC Bac Giang”, then register user accounts and follow the guidance.

On accessing, 3 main components will appear on the interface screen including public services, specialized services and utility services. Particularly, the group of public services has the functions: searching for administrative procedures, submitting dossiers, seeking dossiers and managing dossiers, thereby helping citizens and enterprises to search for the regulations and administrative procedures and submit online dossiers.
The group of specialize services provide useful information about Bac Giang province such as meeting materials, Bac Giang’s cooperatives, direction and leadership and lodging house management.
The group of utility services facilitates users to search for electricity and water fees and list of the administrative agencies in the province.
The use of app “DVC Bac Giang” will help citizens to easily submit dossiers online with smart phones connected to internet and help them to save costs and time, contributing to increasing the percentage of citizens using online public services. By the end of 2022, the percentage of citizens in Bac Giang owning smart phones reached 85 percent and the rate of dossiers processed online was 53.08 percent, 5.08 percent higher than 2021.

According to the representative of the Center for Information Technology and Communication, currently the Center and the Department of Information and Communication are boosting advocacy and providing guidance for citizens to use the app on the Department’s portal, the provincial Center for public administrative services and the one-stop-shop division of the agencies and localities. After the trial period, the Center will make evaluation and finalize the product which is expected to complete before June 2023.
