In 2022, the province launched 33 VBD festivals and attracted nearly 18,000 turns of donors who gave more than 22,000 blood units, surpassing 40.7 percent of the yearly plan.
To realize the target of receiving 18,000 safe blood units this year, the provincial Red Cross Society directed all chapters to accelerate communication, enhance people’s awareness about the VBD benefit and blood transfusion safety on mass media and promote the operational efficiency of VBD club and propaganda team.
