(BGO) – Intermax Vietnam Company Limited in Ngoc Van commune in Tan Yen district is one among a few enterprises in Bac Giang province maintaining “Business for labour” title granted by the provincial Labour Confederation since 2018. It is a deserving reward for the company’s effort to care for the spiritual and material life of trade union members and labours.
Intermax Vietnam Company Limited is a Korean invested business that has operated since 2017 to produce garment product for export. Since operation, the company always ensures all policies for labours such as salary, allowance, protective suit, health examination and payment for social insurance.

According to the Vice Director Hoang THi Hong Hanh, the company now creates stable jobs to more than 1,100 workers with average income of 8 to 11 million VND per person per month. The workers receive not only the regional minimum wage which is higher than regulated rate and increased annually, but also additional allowances every month such as diligence (500,000 VND), gasoline (100,000 VND), seniority (100,000 VND), meal (20,000 VND per meal), boarding house (300,000 VND per person per month for workers living in far distance).
The trade union greatly contributes to help labours have such benefits. In the professional meeting every week with leaders of production divisions, the executive board of the trade union grasps the expectation and wish of labours then makes a list to review and adjust the collective labour agreement in yearend occasion.
Chairwoman of the company Trade Union Tran Thi Ngan said with over 85 percent of female labour, the trade union consulted and suggested the company leader to supplement more policies for them. Particularly 5 month pregnant labours are allowed to work at specific division with more simple tasks, 7 month pregnant labours can finish work one hour ahead and take lunch break 10 minutes ahead together with 15 minute break between the shift.
For years, the trade union has effectively maintained the assistance fund donated by labours. On traditional Tet occasion, apart from the company expenses, the trade union mobilizes the fund to present gift to impoverished cases. Any labour who encouters accident and bad luck gets timely support.
For example, worker Nguyen Ngoc Hao (born in 1987) in Garment Group 1 has recently been offered 134 million VND, including 26 million VND from labour in one week donation campaign, the remaining amount from company.
