With her creative thought and experience, Thuong has naturally become the “inititative specialist” of the company. She provides 2 initiatives each year for technical improvement in garment production process. All of her initiatives have been applied and gained practical efficiency. She submitted this initiative to the software to participate in the “1 million initiatives” programme. Previously, the sewing machines used 5mm presser foot running only 1 seam each time which took time and easily made errors; hence, Thuong recommended the company leaders to replace with 2mm and 3mm foot presser which can run 2 stitches at the same time.

Besides, errors could occur if the workers took wrong materials.

Since his initiative was first applied in August 2022, the mentioned limitations have been surmounted facilitating the workers of the production line, increasing the labour productivity and reducing product errors.
