Businesses get support in labour employment

(BGO) – In the last 5 months of 2023, the businesses in Bac Giang province want to employ 70,000 labours more, reported the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA).

Some big employers are Foxconn Technology Group in Dinh Tram and Quang Chau industrial parks (24,500 labours), Luxshare – ICT in Van Trung and Quang Chau industrial parks (24,000 labours), Newwing Interconnect Technology Company Limited in Van Trung industrial park (13,000 labours), Les Vietnam Technology Company Limited in Quang Chau industrial park (3,000 labours).

To timely support the enterprises in labour employment, Bac Giang province cooperated with Northern localities to launch online job transaction session. Bac Giang led the employment demand with 17,500 labours, mostly working at electronic sector.

In the first six months of the year, Bac Giang province cut about 26,500 workers in the field of textiles and garments, electronic components manufacturing and assembling. But recruitment demand is still increasing up to 70,000 people from now until the end of the year.

Explaining this "reverse wave", Director of Bac Giang provincial Job Service Center Nguyen Van Hue said the province witnessed many new and expanded electronic enterprises. Since early July, orders have returned to many factories that are vendors of Apple, mainly producing headphones, chargers and manufacturing tablets...

Labor sources mainly came from the northern mountainous provinces such as Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Yen Bai while a part moved from the South.
