The Career Guidance and Employment Digital Transformation Day was launched at Saigon University in Ho Chi Minh City on August 5, boasting many activities connecting recruitment agencies with young jobseekers.
The event was jointly held by Saigon University in collaboration with the Student Support Centre, the Youth Employment Service Centre, the Centre for External Service and International Conferences (under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs), and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City’s District 5.

With 35 enterprises participating in recruitment, about 5,000 vacancies were offered in addition to career guidance and sharing on corporate culture of enterprises.
The event also featured devoted spaces for students to experience the interview process at businesses, apply for vacancies online, access their competence, set plans for their career, and others.
Associate Professor Pham Hoang Quan, Rector of Saigon University said that the event is an opportunity for students to access career opportunities from prestigious enterprises and equip themselves with basic knowledge about digital transformation as well as the necessary skills to adapt well to the working environment.
