BAC GIANG – The
Department of Health in Bac Giang on August 21 held a meeting with medical staff from Xaysomboun province (Laos) who came for
professional study in the province.
Implementing the Cooperative Agreement between two provinces, Xaysomboun province will assign more medical officials and staff to Bac Giang for further training and studying from now on till 2025.

In the first period, three staff of Xaysomboun province General Hospital are assigned to study in Bac Giang. During three months, they will be trained on anesthesia resuscitation, internal medicine and pediatrics at provincial General Hospital and Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital depending on their demand.
Speaking at the event, Doctor Specialist Level II cum Vice Director of Bac Giang Department of Health Nguyen Van Binh pressed that Bac Giang province supports to train medical officials and staff from Xaysomboun province.

He hoped the first three members will receive the knowledge, master the technique to well treat patients and transfer the gained profession to other doctors and health workers at their homeland.
The Department of Health will soon contact Thai Nguyen province Medical University and Thai Binh province Medical University to gain more assistance.

(BAGICO) in Bac Giang and General Director of Development Fund in Xaysomboun
province of Laos inked cooperative agreement on “Transferring software technology
of digital transformation in agriculture and linkage chain to consume farm
produce and specialties of Laos and Vietnam”.

- A November 27-29 working trip to Laos’ Xaysomboun province by a delegation of
Bac Giang province was very successful, contributing to tightening the close
relationship between Vietnam and Laos.
The delegation was led by Duong Van Thai, member of the Party Central
Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and head of the
provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies.
