NA Vice Chairman attends national solidarity festival in Bac Giang

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Tran Thanh Man attended the Great National Solidarity Festival in Van Chung Village in the northern province of Bac Giang on November 4.

Speaking at the event, Man praised the village and Bac Giang Province for their positive results in economic development, ensuring defence and security, enhancing the people’s standard of living and building a cultural life.

NA Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Man presents a gift to Van Chung Village.

He asked the local Party committee, fatherland front, social organisations and residents to build on their achievements and continue implementing patriotic emulation programmes.

The NA leader also requested local authorities to support people in changing their crop and livestock structure to create high-value and high-quality products appropriate to the local climate and soil conditions.

On the occasion, the NA official presented 500 million VND (20,000 USD) to the Bac Giang Fund for the Poor to build ten houses for policy beneficiaries.
