Vietnamese sport aims towards the goal of leading the region in terms of swimming
Vietnamese sport has seen a rapid increase in the number of gold medals won at the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games since a modest target of striving to win more than one title at the 26th Games in 2011. At a recent congress of the Vietnam Aquatic Sports Association (VASA) for the 2018-2023 term, Vietnamese swimming set a goal of producing a supreme finish in the 2021 SEA Games.
