According to veteran Nguyen Van Thinh, there are 3 important factors for a marital arts learner which are quickness, strength and accuracy. As it is a fighting game, Thinh always requires his students to learn ethnics apart from practicing marital arts.

The students not only learn marital arts to improve their health and have healthy life but also learn good deeds and sense of disciplines. This is a way to inspire the pride of the tradition of the heroic land, which makes many parents trust in him to send their children to learn.

Currently, Tan Yen is the only district in the province maintaining the annual marital arts festival in summer with friendly matches, belt promotion exams, evaluation of the training results and district-level traditional marital arts competitions creating a playground and competition opportunities for the practitioners to enhance their qualification.

Although Thinh assigned the coaching mission to his learners 2 years ago, he plays an important role in training marital arts.
