(BGO) – On March 3, the (SEA Games) launched training course to 85 volunteers for badminton event at the sports competition hall in Bac Giang province.
The one-day course provided the volunteers the general knowledge and practice in group such as information about 31st SEA Games; instructed them how to pick up officials, delegates, athletes, coaches, referee and reporters from neighbouring countries; trained them to support and guide the delegates, serve at the competition hall, welcome the guests…

As schedule, the provincial sports competition hall will be the official competition place for badminton event at 31st SEA Games to welcome 130 athletes from eight countries of Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Lao, Campuchia, Thailand and Singapore.
The matches take place from May 16 – 22, 2022. The reception and assistance task will last from May 1 – 24, 2022.
To ensure the serving task, previously, the provincial Department of Foreign Affairs cooperated with the provincial Youth Union and Organization Board of the 31st SEA Games in Bac Giang province to select 85 teachers and students at local schools as volunteers who are youth members with good communication skill in English or other languages of the ASEAN countries, good health condition and appearance, injected at least two Covid-19 vaccine shots, high responsibility and activeness.
Completing the training course, the volunteers were granted with certificate. Joining the event, the volunteers will be provided card, uniform and allowances of 150,000 VND (6.5 USD) per person per day.
