Bac Giang wins gold medal at 2022 National Mixed Team Badminton Championships

(BGO) – The 2020 National Mixed Team Badminton Championships, co-hosted by Vietnam Sport Administration and Vietnam Badminton Federation from July 26 – 30, wrapped up on July 30 after five day competition at Sport Gymnasium in Quang Nam province. Bac Giang delegation crowned championship title.

The event drew 55 players from six strong delegations of Bac Giang, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Dong Nai provinces, Public Security and Da Nang Sports Training Certer. 10 players from Bac Giang province joined the tourney, typically Nguyen Thi Sen, Tran Thi Phuong Thuy, Than Van Anh, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan, Pham Van Hai and Giap Hoang Bach among others.

After excellently competing at semifinal, Bac Giang and Hanoi teams entered final round with attractive score chasing till the last minute. Though Hanoi couples Tien Tuan – Thao Ly had good moves right from the start, Bac Giang duo Pham Van Hai and Than Van Anh defeated them 3-2 to be champion.

Hanoi players won silver, followed by delegations from Pulic Security and Hai Phong province.

Bac Giang sport delegation won first ever gold medal at the same event in 2020. In 2021, it was delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Vietnam win bronze medal in badminton women’s team at SEA Games 31

(BGO) – The final match of badminton women’s team at the ongoing 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) took place on May 18 afternoon between Thailand and Indonesia delegations under the attendance of Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam Denny Abdi and his spouse.

(BGO) – The semifinal matches in badminton individual of the ongoing 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) took place on May 21 afternoon at Bac Giang provincial Gymnasium. Vietnam badminton athletes competed at men’s doubles and men’s singles events.

 

Thailand win gold in badminton men’s team at SEA Games 31

(BGO) – The badminton men’s team final matches at the ongoing SEA Games 31 took place on May 18 evening at Bac Giang provincial Gymnasium (South urban area of Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province) between Thailand and Malaysian athletes.

 

Vietnam female badminton team stops at team semifinal

(BGO) – The women’ team semi-final matches of the SEA Games 31 badminton event took place on May 17 morning at Bac Giang provincial Gymnasium between Vietnam versa Indonesia and Thailand versa Singapore.
