Bac Giang Youth Football Training Center inaugurated

(BGO)- T&T Group, Hanoi -T&T Sports Joint Stock Company and the provincial Center for Sports Training and Competition of Bac Giang province on September 15 jointly held the inauguration ceremony of Bac Giang Youth Football Training Center.

Ha Noi – T&T Sports Joint Stock Company in February 2022 signed a contract to rent some items in Bac Giang Stadium and the provincial Center for Sports Training and Competition. The company improved the ground, grass, tracking system, 17 technical rooms, stands, boarding house and gymnasium for athletes. The stadium capacity is more than 6,000 seats.

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Duong Van Thai and other delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Center.

The center is targeted to train and coach from 150 to 160 young and talented athletes aged from 7 to 19 each year in concentrated model. Besides, the center will collaborate with community talented clubs and schools to hunt and train about 150 children from 6 to 10 years old.

Excellent athletes at the age of under 15 (U15) or above will be selected to Hanoi Football Academy and play for Hanoi Football Club who will have opportunities to take part in overseas training courses. Other players will continue to practice and compete for the provincial football team.

Bac Giang Youth Football Training Center is responsible to build Bac Giang Football team to compete at the national Football Championship Division 3 since 2025 and supply young players to the provincial youth teams to compete at the national U11, U13, U15 tournaments.

Speaking at the event, permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mai Son stressed, the province will foster mobilizing resources from the society to develop team sports.

He requested the leaders of T&T Group and Hanoi-T&T Sports Joint Stock Company to pay continuous attention and to investing in Bac Giang Youth Football Training Center to make it become a typical model in Vietnam aiming to train talented and strong players with good knowledge and morality, who will make important contributions to success of Vietnamese football in the future.

He expected Bac Giang province will have a football team in earliest time and Bac Giang football will present on Vietnam’s football map. He hoped that many famous players will grow from this Center to join national and international football clubs.

Besides, T&T Group was expected to continue expanding cooperation with the province in other sectors and support the province in investment attraction for socio-economic development.
