Bac Giang lures over 9,300 international tourists

(BGO) – Bac Giang province has estimated to welcome 950,000 tourists since the beginning of this year (up 100,000 visitors comparing to the same period last year), including 9,394 foreign visitors.

The cable car system in Tay Yen Tu spiritual – ecological tourism complex is completed for operation.

The tourism revenue hit 700 billion VND (30.4 million USD), accounting for 63 percent of the yearly target.

The result was achieved thanks to the operations of several tourism projects such as Xuong Giang Victory Historical Relic Site (Bac Giang city); the first phase of Tay Yen Tu spiritual – ecological tourism complex (Son Dong district) and the commemorative area of the six teachings that President Ho Chi Minh gave the People’s Public Security Force (Tan Yen district).

The first stage of Tay Yen Tu spiritual – ecological tourism complex is completed.

Additionally, the local tourism communication and promotion campaign have been boosted with high efficiency while several big events were held in the localities drawing numerous visitors.

In 2018, the provincial sector of culture, sports and tourism targets at attracting 1.5 million visitors with revenue of 1 trillion VND (43.4 million USD).
