Saigon Railway Transport JSC will provide various discounts up to 40% on passenger’s rail fares during the summer from July 1 to August 16.
Accordingly, tickets with a transport distance of over 900km aboard the Thong Nhat SE3/4 and SE7/8 trains (Saigon – Hanoi) will enjoy a discount of 20-40% (except for tickets for a sleeper bed on the SE3 train) if tickets are bought at least 20 days in advance.

The same discount will be applied to tickets with a transport distance of over 600km aboard the SE21/22 trains (Saigon – Da Nang).
Passengers who buy tickets at least 20 days in advance for the SQN1/2 train (Saigon – Quy Nhon) with a distance of over 400km and for the SNT1/2 train (Saigon – Nha Trang) with a distance of over 300km will receive discounts of 20-30% (except for bed-sleeper tickets on the SNT1/2 train).
A 10% discount will be provided for passengers buying tickets at least 10 days in advance for the SPT1/2 train between Saigon and Phan Thiet.
If passengers buy tickets for a group of more than five people, they will be offered a discount of 2-14% while a discount of 7-10% will be given on return tickets.
In addition, travel companies that signed deals with Saigon Railway Transport JSC to stimulate domestic tourism will be offered discounts of 10-25% off the fares for a group of 10 to 100 people.
