Road to Khuon Than tourism site revamped and upgraded

(BGO) – A project has been commenced to revamp and upgrade the provincial road No.289, section of Chu – Khuon Than (Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province).

The road stretches 9.41km with the first end crossing the national road No.31 and last end at Khuon Than lake intersecting the road surrounding the lake in Chu town. The project is invested in two sections.

Particularly, the first section within Chu town is 1.3km and designed in line with urban road standard with the width of 18m and road surface of 15m. The other is designed in line with the third level road standard with total width of 12m, road surface of 7m, pavement and gully in both sides.

Its total investment hit over 214 billion VND (9.2 million USD) from the provincial budget. Tan Thinh Construction Company Limited (Bac Giang city) is selected as the construction contractor to complete the project within expected schedule of 10 months.

The completed project will help ease the travel, transport and accelerate the district socio-economic development.
